JANUARY FORECAST 2023
We start off this month with Mercury retrograde in Capricorn which began at the end of December. Mercury in Capricorn makes for serious and practical thoughts. This is the disciplinarian teacher. Our concerns and worries around structures, plans and money come to light. With the retrograde motion, this is a time to plan ahead concerning these matters. When it goes direct on the 20th, the plans should be set in motion.
There will be a Full Moon in Cancer on the 6th which should create an emotional retrospect in the United States on what transpired a year ago that day. Try and keep arguments and conflicts from flaring up, especially as Mars in Gemini moves direct on the 14th after being retrograde since the end of October.
Now that Mars is going direct, conversations and information take force in a big way. With the Sun moving into innovative and rebellious Aquarius on the 19th, the conversation will be about change and the future. This will take on a very social dynamic since Venus and Saturn will be together in the social sign of Capricorn at this time. This will include politics and economics with those issues being at the forefront of topics. It’s time to start thinking about the future as the Planet of transformation will move into the sign of Aquarius in March.
